space debris

swept up

            in an

            invisible tide

                                 toward

                                   the bleak shape

                      of her cavern.

         caught in

                                                                   her luminous halo

                     of harnessed starlight.

                                              the black hole

                      pulls young stars

            into her hollow

 form never

             to taste

                        a star's fire

                                     but to wear

                                                 it as

                                                a shroud

                                                of death.
