Parnika Kamath is a student writer based in California with a strong interest in both writing and STEM. She's been involved in robotics, science, and everything in-between from a young age and serves as the president of her school's Mu Alpha Theta Math Society. Alongside her academic pursuits, Parnika has simultaneously immersed herself in writing creative pieces, especially poetry, and has contributed to and edited for her school literary magazine. A recipient of the NCTE Award in Writing's First Class, the highest honor, she explores intersectional ideas in her poetry pieces, using language to convey different ideas about emotions, experiences, scientific ideas, and everything in between. When not writing, she's probably frustratedly debugging code, solving math problems, doodling anatomically incorrect people, binge-watching 3Blue1Brown, on coffee runs with friends, or simply letting her mind wander.
