THE HYPERBOLIC REVIEW
Our Team
Founder & Editor-in-Chief
Lillian Liu is a New York based writer. Her favorite genres to read are satire and magical realism, and her favorite genre to write is poetry. She is the lead writer for the nonprofit Mindset Math, an editor for the Alexandrian Review, an alumni of the Kenyon Young Writers Workshop, and is forthcoming in re:imagine literary, the Skipping Stones Magazine, and the Arrowhead Review. She gains inspiration from the luminous details scattered in her muddled stream of consciousness. Outside of writing she enjoys playing tennis, learning new juggling tricks, crocheting genetically modified hybrid squirrels, and listening to her ride or die Spotify playlist entitled "My Playlist #1".

Suzie Lou is a high schooler from New York with a passion for math, art, and writing. For math, she is most interested combinatorics but also appreciates number theory. When she’s not doing math, she’s likely drawing with markers, color pencils, and ink pens, or diving into her latest read. Suzie also enjoys writing short stories, listening to random songs, playing video games, and eating good food—hotpot, coffee, and mango sago are her ultimate happy-makers. Suzie is happy to be part of The Hyperbolic Review's team and is looking forward to reading math poems.
