delicacy of form

Zoë Elizabeth Louise Davis

feeding off honeyed sunlight

sustaining liminal folds

moss-cushioned equations

smirk over

nature’s binary complexities:

1 flower is open

0 flower is closed

insects flock to sweetness

decay

essential

caretakers lowly worms

unseen network

verdant communication

beneath soil skinned soul

where one must slumber

cycle

rich gated logic

all spaces are jungles

if you care to look

snails stalk the park

pitcher plants dance

on windowsill stage

watch the world go by

separated only

by a definition of earth
